| The Australia Project |
| The Australia Project is a series of creative initiatives aimed at critically examining the contemporary Australian identity. Originally founded by Yianni Hill, Chris Edser and Scott Heinrich, the project is now being continued on by Yianni and Chris. The initiatives include inviting some of Australia's best creative talents to respond to a brief and express their views on contemporary Australian culture, a portrait series of the general public called Visions and a postcard project asking the general public to send in their view of what makes them Australian. The resultant work was curated and exhibited in Melbourne's C3 Artspace and following its success there has been shown in Brisbane's Southbank and Melbourne's Federation Square. |
