ABB Grain's history is steeped in grain sourcing, storage and distribution. Due to their own corporate ambition, along with the effects of years of drought, 2007 was a year when ABB Grain focused on diversifying their operation. Their Annual Report needed to reflect this, but also show that grain remained a key commodity for the company. The solution, took grain, and transformed it into its new areas of diversification. The illustrations were painstakingly built by hand – grain by individual grain and then presented with statements relating to the various areas of diversification as double page divider spreads throughout the report.
